Doug Humphreys has been the Principal at Eagle Ridge for thirteen years. Doug played rugby at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana where he got his under-graduate degree. He received his Master's Degree from the University of Colorado-GO Buffs! He began his career at Bear Canyon Elementary School starting as Special Education and then third grade. He was Assistant Principal for three years at Pine Lane Elementary School before coming to Eagle Ridge. His favorite part of Eagle Ridge is the school community-parents, educators and children-who constantly do what is best for kids. Our goal for students this year is more hands-on, real-world experiences to enhance their learning opportunities. When not at Eagle Ridge Elementary, Doug loves to camp, ski and non-stop children's sports with his family!
Jill Sanger, a Colorado Native, is happy to be returning to Eagle Ridge for her 17th year. Previously a 2nd/3rd grade classroom teacher, and then part of our MTSS Team, this is Jill's 2nd year as our Dean of Students. On weekends/breaks, Jill enjoys spending time with her family and friends, playing volleyball and golf, as well as cheering on ALL Colorado sports teams, especially the Broncos!
